Hi. My name is Fred Boykin and I am the President of Bicycle South, Inc.

I am also an elected official - (that's my "official" photo) and I'm in my second term on the Decatur City Commission. Bicycle transportation and advocacy issues are very important to me and they're part of the reason I ran for office. I believe you can make a difference and I urge you to get involved.

Go to your local council meeting, call your local elected official, make an appointment and go see them - ask for better riding conditions on our local streets! They do listen, but someone has to make sure they hear and keep hearing that bicycling is a great way to get around. It's healthy, quick, and easy on the planet.
