Flat Bar Fitness

Flat Bar Hybrids
Fitness orientated hybrids have a very close cousin in the drop bar road bike. Often they have similar weights to road bikes (very light 20 lbs and less) thin tires, slightly bent over riding positions, high end drive train parts and higher gearing. Often the only difference between a fitness orientated road bike and an actual road bike is the hybrid has flat handlebars!

If You Are Reading This
You probably read about recreational hybrids and determined that distance, speed and more road bike like characteristics are your thing. The comfortable, upright position you find on a recreational hybrid can be a liability when looking at overall miles no matter if those are commute miles or pleasure miles, simply because you are sacrificing pedaling efficiency for comfort. Wider, lower pressure tires, while stable, have more friction and slow you down. So free your inner roadie and come check out a flat bar bike!

And if you're not sure?

Well, remember the 30 day money back guarantee! We want to put you on the right bike for the right ride.
