Description: Recommended for rear use only, our Large Mountain Panniers are the bags of choice for an extended tour, alone or in conjunction with front-mounted Mountain Panniers. With the same top-loading design and patented lock-on suspension as the Mountains, the Large Mountains feature voluminous main compartments capped by 10.5" storm sleeves, with floating hood pockets secured by a webbing and cam buckle system. Contrasting-colored bungee cords crisscross over the hoods. The gusseted side pockets are identical to those on the Mini Mountain Panniers; one made completely of Cordura and the other featuring mesh bottom and side panels for good airflow around its contents. If you'd like to increase the volume available for storage, horizontal compression straps on both main compartments will accept Pannier or Backpack Pockets. There is a front edge cutaway for kick-free pedaling, and 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material on three sides ensures visibility at night. Off-bike use is a breeze with snap-together leather handles, lower attachment snaps, and corner D-rings where you can attach an optional shoulder strap.
