Why Tech Tips?

Bicycle South is a resource for lots more than bicycles and accessories. People come in the shop all the time and ask us all kinds of questions, everything from what kind of raingear is the most effective, to how to change a flat tire.

Lots of those questions come from phone calls and go kind of like this "I found your website and thought I ought to call you and ask you how to get the chain back on my bike." Wouldn't it be great if that person could look at our website and see exactly how that chain goes back on the bike?

Believe me, it's not like we don't want to talk to you - because we do. But if one person can see a picture or read an explanation on how to close a quick release - and it saves them a trip to the shop, well we've accomplished our goal!
